Who said mama doesn’t dance? Lisa Schroeder, chef/owner of Mother’s Bistro & Bar and Mama Mia Trattoria, knows a good beat when she hears one.  Schroeder is excited to announce that beginning Saturday, March 13, DJ Mr. Mumu will spin tunes in Mother’s Velvet Lounge every Friday and Saturday night, kicking off the weekends early by starting his set during Friday’s Happy Hour.  DJ Mr. Mumu, former resident DJ at Saucebox, is a favorite among the local dance scene, and is known for mixing vinyl, spinning funk and mashing up classic ‘get down’ tunes with contemporary beats. Mumu knows how to get the crowd going!  DJ Mr. Mumu’s first night is Saturday, March 13 from 9p.m. to close.
